Production:: Protein-A/G Recombinant produced in E.Coli is a single non-glycosylated polypeptide chain fused with a Cys at C-terminus. Protein-A/G is comprised of 5 IgG-binding regions of protein A (E-D-A-B-C) and 2 of protein G (C1-C3) containing 430 amino acids in total and having a molecular mass of 47.8kDa. Cell wall binding region, cell membrane binding region and albumin binding region have been eliminated from the recombinant Protein A/G to guarantee the maximum specific IgG binding.
